About Kristin

My specialties:

I have a passion for helping women feel confident, empowered, and fulfilled. As well as helping them to process challenges while finding peace. Together, we will learn to accept imperfections, without letting them define us.

Being a momma is SO hard. After experiencing some of my own challenges postpartum, my passion began to encompass helping moms. My goal is to listen and to help equip mothers as they face the many challenges that come with caring for a newborn as well as the years to come. Let’s be real, each phase comes with its own challenges.

I have always been drawn to working with kids. Through my experiences in the school setting, I have developed a strength in working with kids who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, emotional regulation, and more. I do my best work with kids ages 8-18. Also, I value partnering with parents in assisting with a child’s development.

My education/background:

I began my career as an elementary school teacher, where I quickly developed my passion for helping students’ social/emotional development. In the spring of 2018, I received my degree in professional school counseling at Lindenwood University. This led to my transition to a School Support Interventionist in the Wentzville School District, where I focused on helping students and teachers with social/emotional development, with an emphasis on trauma-informed approaches.

After the birth of my own two kids, and struggling with my own mental health, I grew a desire in helping others at a more intimate level. I decided to go back to Lindenwood to get my certification in professional counseling, which led me to private practice.
