Who I Work With
Kristin Bemis LPC, PMH-C
Moms
Motherhood can be meaningful and deeply rewarding, but it can also be exhausting and overwhelming. Many moms carry the invisible mental load of family life while trying to balance work, relationships, and their own needs.
This is something I am in the thick of myself. As a parent to two young, school-aged children, I am reminded every day how humbling and transformative parenting can be. My kids continue to teach me about patience, growth, and self-reflection, and they are a constant motivator for the work I do both personally and professionally.
Therapy can help moms navigate anxiety, burnout, parenting stress, and the pressure to be everything for everyone.
Teens & Young Adults
The teen and young adult years come with enormous pressure—academics, friendships, identity, and big life decisions. Many young people feel overwhelmed by expectations or unsure of who they are becoming.
I have a natural ability to connect with teens and young adults, creating a space where they feel comfortable opening up and building trust quickly.
Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to manage stress and anxiety.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Moms
Pregnancy and early motherhood bring major emotional and physical changes. While this time can be joyful, many mothers also experience anxiety, overwhelm, or unexpected emotional challenges.
My own postpartum challenges are what led me to this work. I remember feeling like no one around me was talking about the hard parts of motherhood, which made an already vulnerable season feel even more isolating. I’m certified in Maternal Mental Health, with advanced training to support moms through the challenges of pregnancy and early motherhood.
Therapy offers a compassionate space to process these experiences and receive the care you deserve.
